Almost dropped my girl turning her around in the garage-hand got wedged into fairing and -well caught her-pheww! Thank gud it wasn't the Beast next to her-BMW K12GT. She's an '05 999, so was thinkin-perhaps frame sliders are good insurance. So, thinkin ft axel, mid frame-really don't want to cut a hole in the side fairing-she's converted to a MonoPosto-so pinnion pegs are gone and free for slider-too high up? and perhaps switching out rear stand bobbin with bobbin/slider. Who's got em and perhaps some pics.

Anyone have frame sliders installed on their 848/1098/1198? Wanted to know how they look and what brand you got?

I don't know what will protect your pretty stuff in a garage tip-over, but axle sliders do an amazing job of keeping the forks and swing arm from getting ground into ugliness in a moving fall. Bar end sliders are great, too.
