Just reading through threads on here- I'm trying to get the flywheel off my 2003 Ds motor and its on as tight as - but one thread i read says this is a Right hand thread??
Both Haynes and Lt Schneiders books fail to mention this- is this right?? I've been pretty much standing on my breaker bar trying to urn the nut anti clockwise- am i being completely thick here??
I've used a small gas torch to try and heat any thread lock on there- should I use a bigger set- or perhaps an impact driver?

Any help much appreciated!

Not absolutely sure anymore but think you're right.
Looking at the crankshaft from the RH side of the bike the crankshaft turns clockwise implying that the nut should be fastened counterclockwise (and unfastened clockwise). Check the crankshaft rotation to be sure.

Trust this helps, cheers.

The flywheel nut is right hand thread so your right, just need a bigger breaker bar, there done up tight, about 330nm from memory.
