I imagine you, guys already saw this:
http://www.ducati.ms/forums/showthread.php?t=71668

I called a shop today that builds 1098Rs for racing and asked them about this.
And the answer was; if I want the fueling problem to really go away and not just to have it “almost not there” I’d have to go with Nemises.
But we already kind of knew that, didn't we?

PS.

Flyn, you are cracking me up here, man:D

Well, looks like my SF is never going to be close to running right, because I won't be shelling out for the full Termi setup, much less a Nemesis...:(

Got my ProTune yesterday from motowheels but my bike is at FBF again getting its brakeline repaired. I will try the protune when I get my bike back and see if that helps my still stuttering bike.

There are seem to be cheaper (and perhaps better) ways to improve the lean fueling being tested:

I don't know, the ProTune didn't look that encouraging and the PCV with custom tune looked kinda expensive, though obviously cheaper than the full Termis...

As stated before, I'm not looking for more noise or performance, just a smoother running SF...that said, I'll probably give the ProTune remap a shot sometime down the road...

Protune, Nemesis, or DP ECU/PC V combo are really going to be the only way to go.

Now, I have my own opinion on just how many *real* talented dyno guys are out there, that know what they are doing. Louie from L&L Motorsports is the only guy I let touch my bikes.

So if you don't know of someone or someplace for a custom tune, just go with the DP ECU/PC V *with* Autotune option for your bike. That will tune your bike automatically. It's essentially the same program on Louie's computer that calculates the map, is already IN the new PC V. But you gotta get the Autotune option feature in order to do it.

Or, the Nemesis. or Protune.
