The battery on my M620 went flat as it had sat idle for a while, so I bought a new one & fitted today.

Now, it's all gone a bit wrong. Once the battery was fitted the clocks lit up & the r/h side indicators started to flash........and I hadn't even turned the key to switch the ignition on. And even when I do turn the key, the bike won't kick over & start up.

Any idea what the problem could be? I've checked all the fuses I can find & they seem ok, so thats the end of my electrical knowledge.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

A couple of quick things; is the battery charged? If you have a volt meter, check it out. If it drops below ~13V with the key on, your bike won't do much. It may just need initial charging. Also, is the battery in backwards?

Good luck

I think I've managed to sort it. The battery was fine & in the right way etc :) But I think something was wrong with the immobiliser, so I reset that with that throttle/flashing light combo, I also swapped keys & it looks ok......for now.
