I've done a quick search, but a lot of people cant access shell oils. I need to know which one to use.

Shell offer Shell Ultra 4 Advance (Mineral Based)

&

an older Shell Ultra 4 Advance Fully Synthetic...


The question is which one? The manual is not specific...

anyone had any expirience?

I searched and searched for the Shell oil recommended for my 2006 749s to no avail. Eventually I emailed Shell and found that it was not imported to the US. I have been using Mobil 1 for V-twins synthetic for the last 3 years and have no complaints with its performance.

question is directly about shell...ducati say use shell advance 4, theres like 2 different types!

Everyone runs synthetic in some form or another. No one talks about the Shell, because it's not widely available. I as well as many others run Motul 300V 4T 15W50 (or another weight for temp.)
