When possible keep the speed up. And when it is time to clear the shield duck your head down right to the top of the windscreen and the air will blow it off pretty well. Also I clean my shield with Plexus, it seems to make things bead up pretty well.

1) aviod it
2) if #1 fails, wet leather swipes away water pretty well (like a chamois).
3) my winter gloves have a squegee built in as do other gloves.
4) they sell finger squeegees for this very purpose.

Turn you head

The turn you head method works great. Get your speed up to about 75++ then turn your head right and left. Make sure that your helmet is about your wind shield so that you get the most out of the wind. When you turn you head back an forth the water just blows right off. Just remember it wont work very well unless you abover 75.. Just wack that throttle you will see very soon.
