has anyone used their sliders? They're FAR cheaper than most slider options.

They say the engine bolt is grade 6, what is the stock engine bolt? Most companies don't list the grade of the bolt. Any input?

Sliders worry me. Too many stories of frames and engine cases being broken at the mounting bolt locations. You do have rigid rearsets, no? They and the handlebars have been my sliders in my 2 track crashes.

i crashed at my last track day... totally decimated the left side of my bike. That said they worry me too. I purchased my bike with broken sliders, and my mounting holes on the frame are ever-so-slightly ovalized.

Woodcraft rearsets are $200. do you think thats a better rout?

I had T Rex racing frame sliders on my old Kawasaki er6n. Bike got tipped over in my driveway, they did their job pretty good. I can't speak to them in a crash.

I've been told by lots of people I race with who ride Ducs to not put them on my bike. I'm told frame sliders lead to bent frames more than they protect anything. They say the rearsets and clip-ons will do that job due to the bike being narrow. Makes sense to me.
