Hey People!

Ok, so I finally removed my headlight bucket - which was a long time coming. As soon as I connected everything back together my engine check light lit up!

I did not connect the air temperature sensor back, simply because I was not able to remove it from the headlight bucket without excessive force. I really did not want to force it...

will reconnecting the air temperature sensor turn the check engine light off?

Having the ATS not connected will definately trip a CEL. On startup, the ECU makes sure everything is functioning properly. If something is not working (or disconnected) it lets you know there is something wrong via the CEL.

Yup, you need to connect the air temp sensor. You should be able to pull it out with the rubber boot - you wont damage it. Are you connecting this to your race stay? I picked up a spare sensor from ebay for about $15.

Thanks guys.

I will gently try to remove the air temperature sensor from the head light bucket. If it is too hard I will purchase an extra one from Ebay.

You guys are great
