Can't get the battery light to behave itself and I'm not sure why. Flickering at idle is understandable, but there's a weird battery light dim then a bright flash on sharp acceleration and the indicator light is still on and flickering until voltage is above ~14volts which seems pretty high to me.

Yuasa Battery is a year old and holding a charge or 12.5V when the bike is off.

I'm wired up per the electrosport diagram (attached to this post).
Red wire direct to the battery +
Green wire direct to the battery -
Yellow wires to the generator of course.
White wire to the ducati white/bk wire that goes to the battery light.

Making 13.5V at 1000rpm, 14.3V at 2700, nice and steady at 14.5 above that, so the new R/R is doing its job I'd say. Voltage measured across the battery terminals.

This thread was helpful:

Especially the blue diagram that MrSpigot attached, which is exactly how I have mine wired up right now.

Any thoughts to clean up this weird light behavior?

Situation improved but not solved by cleaning and up all of my ground connections and trying again, especially the ground wire connection to the R/R itself. Still get the flickering below 2k rpm and that bright indicator light flash when I snap the throttle open quickly.
