Has anyone tried one of these R/R 's? They claim on the page they are indeed MOSFET and running allot cooler.

To my hand it feels equally as hot as the original diode resistor R/R that I just replaced... I really don't want to deal with a bike on fire or a melted subframe pan.

Product: http://www.electrexworld.co.uk/acatalog/RR53.html

The reason I bought this, was that they could ship if off super quickly, and they are in Europe.. So I could have to deal with import tax. I guess I should have bought one at JC.... Damnit.

Been running one on my 06 for last 5-6 years, no problems and much cooler to the touch than original.

Sure looks the damn same, have no idea on model # without digging, think I got it from JC back then.. It was direct fit with any length harness you wanted.
Although I don't remember it being listed as MOSFET but it is an Electrex.

Hmm. i'm not even sure you have so "so called" MOSFET version... not long ago they sold the RR53 as a shunt/resister unit.
