I now have three, the stocker (08 Hyper) ,and the one that came with the Termi slip ons when Bike was purchased new , and the NEW one that came with the DP racing 2in2 exhaust.I installed yesterday.

The DPs have different Serial #s on them ,are they both the same units ,just programmed differently?

If they are different is one better than the other ? Not worried about the stocker one.
Should I keep one as a spare is my thought , or try and sell it .

Is the ECU specific to the model of bike , or specific to the motor type.

It is going in Monday morning to have the neccessary adjustments made at the Dealer ..

Thanks

The Performance ECU that come with the http://www.ducati.com/shop/product.jsp?catid=cat1370103&prodid=prod1110104 is specific for the slip-on exhaust system which retains the exhaust butterfly and catalyst.

The Performance ECU that comes with the http://www.ducati.com/shop/product.jsp?catid=cat1370103&prodid=prod1110102 is the same ECU as the one that comes with the http://www.ducati.com/shop/product.jsp?catid=cat1370103&prodid=prod1210102. This is the one you will want to install and use. Make sure you have your TPS sensor rest. You should seriously consider installing the http://www.tpoparts.com/catalog/pro...id=59&osCsid=80a0615d09ad5dfef5d465dc8d1003a4 This kit gains
+6hp and +6ftlbs of torque on average with no necessary needs for a PCIII usb.
