Reminded me of Watkins Glen, they lined it with Armco to keep the Nascar racers on it.
Back in the '80s, turn 1 at Mosport was lined with Armco .
I watched a guy go into it on a bevel 900SS in '88 or '89.
I was chasing him down, and he got into 1 too hot and laid it down. He slid under it between 2 poles, but the bike lost the forks and front wheel and almost folded in half.:(
They back filled the area behind the turn in the early '90s and pusher the Armco w-a-y back. Lots of run-off now.

Just returned from the Glen today...run a car there enough, you are bound to bring a blue stripe home!
Beautiful track...closest my ST4s got to the race line was under the bleachers at Pit Lane! I did ride a few laps on the old course though, that was cool! Stopped at the memorial to Samuel Collier, killed in the 1950 GP. Lots of cool stuff in the village; great racing history and very cool vibe.

Route I took since I didn't get to make ECM X (work conflict) I opted to do this 2210 mile trek:

Is Swiss Farm Roger here? Went past the Inn about 3PM Saturday and pinned the throttle, maybe he heard me <img src="http://www.ducati.ms/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Smile" class="inlineimg" />
Roger doesn't frequent the MS very often, I know Saturday he was pedaling out by Lake Bomoseen, so pinning the Tuono by the Inn was in vain...if that's ever possible!

Aaaah, the Lake, I camped there before...
there was a bike race going on when I left Granville, 75 and 100 mile loops were going over Appalachian (or Lincoln?) Gap, down 100 and back west over Middlebury Gap, was he pedaling a bike or canoe?

He was on a bike, trucked over there and pedalled around with Mrs. Swiss Farm.
If your back this way beware of 73/Brandon Gap, west side of gap the road has been ground down to gravel all the way to town, unless your ADVing...people are saying it sucks in cars...

Two psych doctors walk into a Ducati dealer.... <fill in your own punchline>

Neurotics build motorcycles in the sky. Psychotics ride them. Psychiatrists spend their money and buy Ducati's.

There was no ‘tried’ about it. Bike has been defiled....I invoked prima nocta! You will have to enjoy your new ride knowing you were not her first. Channeling my inner hooligan...

Went over the gap having time of my life, sideways most of the way up, rooster tail of dirt (came up from 7, to 53 and around Lake Dunmore) this Ape is best all around bike EVER, it has done more Gravel roads then every GS in Charbucks parking lot combined :)

My Tuono stays on pavement but the Multi has seen it's share of dirt...

Dad, - gotta love that Tuono! IMO the best naked on the market today! I just got back from another trip to deals gap and the surrounding roads and the TV4F is just sublime up there.
