Hi, this may be a stupid question. It seems that last spring I had bad gas in my 748 but I didn't get to the dealer or looked at it when it happened and... well one thing lead to another so now it is still sitting in the garage. So I am wondering when I take it in if you think that the damage caused by potentially bad gas (it wasn't turning over back then - battery was good) will be now worse because the bike has been sitting for so long? Thanks for your help as always...

Hey there,

not turning over means thatthe engine is cranking but not firing, so no spark? Or do you mean it doesn´t crank?

If all else except for the gas is fine, take off the fuel tank and drain the fluid out of there. There´s a small screw on the underside of the tank for this.

Thanks for the suggestion. Last year I think it was cranking, but not firing up. Right now the battery is dead so I will charge it first then do what you suggested. Thanks!
