I have a 2001 Sport900 with the Ducati Performance by Remus slip ons and accompanying ecu chip. I'm wondering what performance gains are made by that combination over the standard pipes and ecu?
You're likely not going to be far off the DP ECU trace provided your bike has had a proper tune and is in good condition. Each bike is a little different and you cannot really get reliable published numbers using a given combo of pipes and ECU.
Great question, great response and great report by Brad.
Based on personal experience with my bike and jduke's in Georgia, i would not believe that a DP map is necessarily the best for your bike.
As SS904 stated "every bike is a little different" Even what you perceive as a minor mod, may actually have quite an impact, which could be positive or negative in various ranges/regions of riding.
