hello..recently i just bought a ducati monster 821 model 2019..it is a month old bike..yesterday when i start up the bike and approxmiately a minute or two later the temp become 80-90 celcius in a jiff and the header of the exhaust become really red..i tried to switch off and restart the bike ,same thing happen..then realize when the bike reach 105 celcius the radiator fan doesnt kicks in..anyone know what is the problem?..

If it is a month old brand new bike you should really, really take it back to the dealer. It is under warranty. Let the professionals fix it under warranty. If you mess with it they will blame it on you. This is definitely not normal, by the way. Did you check your fuses ? Is it full of coolant ? That’s all I’d check on my own.

i did not check the fuses but the coolant is still on max level..already text them..but the dealer is 20-30km away..is it ok for me to ride my bike there?..im scared if i ride to the dealer might damage other things..

105 is fine, fans probably come on at 106 or so.

but take it to the dealer if you have any concerns. see if they take the time to explain it to you.

... any chance something got in the exhaust since you bought it? Like a small animal, or a banana?

haha..not a banana definitely..possible rat..is something inside the exhaust can be the reason?

is this out in daylight or in the dark? stainless retains the heat and the headers will glow pretty quickly, especially with the higher idle speeds these things have.

in daylight this glow visible too..i already sent to ducati dealer just now..they said something wrong with the firing and petrol mixture..and for the radiator fan the fuse blew up..they will check thoroughly tommorow using diagnosis machine something..
