Hi guys,

I want to appologize in advance if this is not the place to ask this question. Based on what I see on the site it seems to be the right area.
I have 2006 Ducati Monster that I bought used. It runs fine but I did not get to ride it a lot last year and the battery died over the winter.
I switched the battery but I am running into a new issue.
It takes a long time to start.
I mean really long. The engine makes that sound that it makes before starting and just keeps on trying to start. It generally actually starts on the 8-10th try.

I was wondering if anyone ran into this issue or know anything about it.
I hate to take it to the dealership without any idea of whats wrong with it.

And incase I am in the wrong section please let me know where to post this.

Thanks in advance
