I thought some people might be interested in a current build project.

I wanted to build something different, something that involved a little cutting and welding. Here are some early assembly pics, but a general idea of the direction I'm going with it.

Saw the pictures on Facebook, at first glance it thought the lower picture was from a Diavel, then I re-read topic, opened them and looked again :)

The forks will be black/ti-nitrate SBK forks, I'm not sure about the exhaust, I'm still playing around with idea's.

The final paint should be matte/black or matte green.

I like where this is going... Interested to see how you will tie it all together.

Looking good!

I'm not much into that type of look, so I'm surprised how much I like it.

I think a shotgun-style a'la scrambler type of exhaust would look good on this.

I think an ''under engine'' exhaust will be the key, kind of balance the look of the bike by filling that empty spot between wheel and engine. Visually it will move the fuel tank forward, giving a more rough look to the bike.

Liking it!

Been helping a friend build a Triumph Bobber. It's coming out pretty sick and nasty:

Keep it rolling along, can't wait to see more!

The 796 would be easy, you can always buy a spare subframe and start cutting. :)
