Such a noob mistake.

I forgot to put the kick stand down before taking the bike off of the rear stand...

I broke the front fairing nose and upper front fairing stay bracket.

Should I claim it with insurance or just buy parts and fix it? Do I go CF or stick w/ stock?

Anyone know any cheap places to get these parts?

If anyone has these parts let me know (red fairing, upper front fairing stay).

Thanks.

I am constantly scowering ebay and the forum here for that one lucky deal. Fairing stays are fairly easy to find. Finding a good nose fairing might be tricky and require patience. I would also not involve insurance, as they'll look at the retail cost to fix it...not a pretty picture. Surely someone is turning a bike into a track bike and parting out the plastics and such. Good luck.

Thanks guys appreciate your posts.

Yea I was considering the motowheels CF fairing. I am assuming the CF version is only slightly lighter. Their website says 0.62kg. Kinda makes me wonder how heavy is the stock front fairing.

Looked at Ebay looks like they have a few options.

Thanks

Moto,

What do you think of painting a Carbon Fiber fairing red w/ a CF number plate?
Have you done this before?

Also wondering what is the cost to paint it red since your website says there is that option.

All red
Red with CF number plate
Red with white number plate

Thanks
