Hi All:

I'm looking for a DP ECU for my 06 Sport Classic 1000. Anyone have one laying around?
Also, from what other Ducati would a DP ECU work on our Sport Classics?

I don't know if either will work. The first one says it has been "reprogramed" hmm. Does that mean red keyed? You want one that has not been programed or red keyed. As for the second one, i don't know. I wouldn't take the chance at that price. I zoomed in and the serial number is different.

Ducati ECU Remap Kit

From what I can gather, our ECU's, including the stock ones can be reprogrammed:

This includes remapping a stock ECU to become a DP ECU.

While this unit looks great, I believe it locks itself to the first ECU that it reprograms, and can then only ever be used with that ECU, and no other.

Mine doesn't read "Paul Smart".

That one has the same part number of the 2-1 ECU I have. But it looks like someone did the buy it now. My shop told me they didn't red key the ecu.
