I'm about to take delivery of a 998 with the Termi exhaust (not sure if it's a full or half system) and DP ECU and was wondering whether there's any benefit to adding a Power Commander. I added one to my ST4s previously and it made a world of difference in its rideability. Thoughts?

I cant speak directly for your series of bike, however i added the DP slip on/filter, ECU to my 1198, and when i dyno'd the bike, it was between very rich (10.0-1) and rich (12.0-1) afr, only at 1 point on the map did my afr meet the 13.1-13.2 which is accepted as best for power production and rideability. With a PC i could tune it to perfection.

We didnt log part throttle and the ECU did make the bike better everywhere, but it could be perfect, not RICH with a PC5. I plan on adding a PC after i reflash my ECU for the full system i recently added, and getting a custom tune.

So a YES would be my thought.
