Does this sound normal? do i just need to have the tps set? the ecu is 2nd hand and is labeled for a GT.
Do you have the O2 sensor connected? Or is this the ECU that you can eliminate the sensor?

I recently installed a second hand DP ECU and had no problems.

I haven't had a TPS reset done, it seems to be running fine, but next service I will get it done.

In regard to the oxygen sensor, I believe it has to be disconnected, i.e. don't leave it connected.

check all peripheral plugs/connections - if you jiggled one of them loose (happened to me) you'll get a yellow light.

The engine light also comes on if the VDSTS was crossedwired when connected. It would cause some damage with the ECU ground signal. The only way to get rid off the light is to connect another ground wire to the ECU diagnostic connector,
