don't mind a little cutting and welding, ran into the mild steel subframe on craigslist for cheap.

do not know if it is for a 749 or a 999 he listed both. it is the original paint (black) if that means anything.

it is also for a biposto bike.

The two subframes are entirely different. The xx9 frame actually sits lower in the bike to accommodate the lower seat arrangement. The tail also sits higher then the xx8 bikes, making it totally incompatible.
ok thanks. ^ you actually answer most of my questions pretty helpful, appreciate it.

how much would you guys spend for a steel subframe? i was thinking around $100 maybe less. that is what this one was up for ($100)

Steel subframes arn't worth much, $50 bux... You can get aluminum ones for $125-$150.
Where? Been looking, but obviously not in the right places!

Any links, phone numbers, etc.? Thx!
