I just pick up Decibullz (model NRR 31) earplugs on the strong recommendation of two of my local MC gear salesmen. These seem to be high quality units, and feature a moldable insert to hold the plugs in the ear. You heat them in hot water, then mold them to your ear. They cool to become a relatively hard substance with double flange soft plugs held in the ear canal.

Has anyone had any success with these? I wear a full face helmet, and can't seem to get my helmet on very easily. Once it is on, they seem to be pretty uncomfortable with all that hard plastic moulding in the outer area of my ears.

Any favorite earplugs -- from those of you using full face helmets?

they work well and are only 25.00 on Amazon.

I had no success with various foam plugs. Finally bit the bullet and got these:

I've been very happy with them. They fit perfectly as you would expect and have never popped out or come loose during a ride or when putting my helmet on.

They usually hit the various moto shows and have reps all over you can schedule appointments with. Takes about 30 minutes.
