Does anyone know the frequency and start/stop times for the ferry that runs north from Germany-Denmark - Intending to take a trip to Copenhagen and Sweden coming from Ijmuiden and want to know if it is time-effective to wait for the ferry or just stay on the motorway continuing north ?

You mean the one from Puttgarden to Rodby? I think that runs pretty much 24/7? maybe during the night it stops for some hours.

The crossing is 45 mins and all you have to do is show up at the queue.

If you want to take the long bridge from Denmark to Sweden, be warned - the bridge crossing can be expensive. alternative is to take a ferry from Helsingor(DK) to Helsingborg(SWE), that takes only 20 minutes.

Thats exactly right , took it about 30 years ago and though I should check.
The bridge v ferry is very handy information , I heard it was about 20 Euros for the bridge but supposed it would be less for a m/c ?
Thanks for the prompt response.
