Does anyone have up-to-date weights on the various models of current tires? Seems not much of a concern as it once was...

If you go to most online tire retailers they list weights in the specs for most tires.

Such as : https://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/...cing-street-hypersport-rear-motorcycle-tire-p

(Select a size to see the specs)

Tires I’ve used and weighed myself match these posted weights almost exactly.

I will say that even though I have obsessed at times over weight I’ve learned that lighter isn’t always fastest. :)

If everyone started posting the tire type, size, and weights here before mounting new tires pretty soon we’d have a good reference.

Metzler's front M9 120/70/17 9.6~9.8lbs
Rear 180/60/17 15.0lbs

The front tire by itself bounced between.6 and .8 ...when weighed together got a stable 24.8lbs

I didn't say heavier, I said bigger. If you've never looked at the 180/60's they are freaking huge. I have a set of 180/60 Supercorsa SC's for my monster and they dwarf a 190/55. And yes they are heavier but faster. :)

The turn in on the 60s does really feel like your falling...it make the 55 feel lazy in comparison...but where the 60 falls the 55 just wants to keep rolling over..the 180/60 was standard issue on my 2015 m821...allowed the use of the same traction control program as the bigger tire bikes because the circumference was the same...next gen use the 180/55...big fan of the 60...been waiting for these all year

The faster you go that falling sensation goes away. But going from the standard 180 or 190 can require some chassis changes.

Bridgestone S22 120/70 - 17: 9.8
Bridgestone S22 190/55 - 17: 15.4

Maybe somebody could start compiling a chart and I would make a sticky thread minus all the bla bla.
