Hi all,

Searched and didn't find an answer. I have never changed this part of the bike before, so please excuse my Noob-ness.

The chrome on the stock crankcase cover started to flake off, so I just ordered a Speedymoto replacement.

I want to ask if this part is an oil seal? When I remove the old one, do I need to drain and replace the oil so I don't make a mess?

Thanks.

I changed mine a few weeks ago. Just as simple as taking out the hex screws, popping off the stock cover and slapping on your new bling.

I put a bit of oil around the new o-ring to ensure a good seal before putting it on and a bit of blue locktite on the screws.
