Replace it....the plastic pen ones clog & fail. My 06 S2r1000 failed on Highway 33 on a straight section thankfully....oiled up the peg, my boot & the right side of the rear tire? Kept RPM’s low & rode it home slowly. Cleaned it up good & replaced it with a Nichols Alu one. It did another 30,000 Miles & is still going. OEM one failed at about 10k.
