I cracked the lower body panel on my ST2. I thought I would just bond it with some Automotive Goop, then press in a few sections of coat hanger wire to give it strength. Open to other suggestions.

I've used Plastex. Great stuff! I added a bit of fiberglass tape to add some strength and stability. In the past I've used a 5 minute epoxy with fiberglass...but the Plastex is much better!

hi,

a mate who works for dingbro uk, showed me a repair kit that contained an electric gun that heater up various shape and sizes of what looked like staples, depending on the material to be repaired these staples could bridge a crack or melt it back together, basically the staple melts it's way into the material and you cut off the protruding legs, you can then do any cosmetic repairs as normal.
