I decided to experiment with a set of convertibars to see if I could reduce the reach to the stock clip on's with the goal of taking load off my right shoulder & neck which seems to bother me after a few hours. I was using a set of heli bars which was a big improvement over stock. The convertibars offer many degree's of adjustment and various height settings without using spacers. Attached are a few pics of the install. Of note the comfort fairing allowed more adjustability than stock fairing. I have not tested out the install yet but I'm not sure I achieved any closer reach with the convertibars compared to the heli bars. I will follow up with some test results.

I have been using these for four years now. They are fantastic, you can change riding position quicker than filling the tank.
