What do you use the plaque for? As they have the VIN of the bike....

Interesting - that's the "trinket" in the felt box yeah? Not the tag stuck on the triple clamp?

If it's the one in the felt box how do you go about this? I am the second owner of my 999R and never got the plaque, and the previous owner wasn't too fussed about trying to find it for me....

Correct. It is the felt box. A local trophy maker is going to redo the aluminum plaque portion for for me. Identical to the original.
