OK , so I think I made things worse , bike is 92 Ducati 851 7500mi

Replacing the gaitor boot on Clutch slave cylinder and pushrod , and I replaced the 2 little rings on the clutch side of the push rod.

Got the 2 seals and pulled off the slave cylinder , no oil leak, removed the pushrod and replaced the 2 rings and re-installed everything in sequence.

Start the engine in neutral , the dry clutch pack spins freely,
put it in gear and it stops !
Let out the clutch a little and the clutch begins to move but then engine stalls.

Am I just stupid or hamfisted or retarded , can't figure it out and I am tired of screwing things up.

any advice again would be welcome.

Ridden it lately? Clutch pack sounds like it may be frozen up...plates stuck together. Open up the clutch side and check it out. I must admit I'm not familiar with '92 though...dry clutch, right? My advice is for a dry clutch. :)
