I just added an '06 S2R1000 to my garage, along with my ST2. I recently swapped the CycleCat pressure plate and cover from the ST for the stock setup on the S2R. The clutch plate with the pushrod went onto the S2R without a problem and works perfectly. However, when I put the stock plate and pushrod onto the ST the pushrod just goes into the drum and there's no spring or tension pushing it back. The clutch lever has no tension when you pull it in either and the clutch fluid is now low.
Any ideas what could be causing this and how I fix it?

Thanks,

pull both rods and check length, aren't some shorter than the other?

OK, thanks. I thought because the clutch in the S2R was working that everything was the same. I'll try that.

Cheers

Sometimes when you put a newer slave cylinder on an older model, you need the newer rod, I think. Ran into this playing with slave cyls. 2cm. maybe, can't remember exactly.

OK, I went to switch the pushrods but I'm not sure how to get it out of the CycleCat pressure plate. It seems pressed in and I don't want to force it.
