so after getting my stator fixed and everything put back together i went to start the bike and heard a loud clank noise! still runs shifts goes thru 3rd its on jack stands so i only went that high... but when its running i can hear a jingling sound coming from the clutch side. any ideas im gonna start looking into it tonight.

A jingling sound huh. Is your bike by any chance a Ducati with a dry clutch

actually its a wet clutch but i watched some videos online and it sounds just like the dry clutches that guys had videos of. also i used to put almost 4 qts of oil in and this time i put in 3 and its showing overfull.
