I had a separate thread going about clutch lever going soft after 300 miles. Seems a common occurrence based on the numerous posts I found.

According to several sources (OPP Racing, for one), Brembo rebuild kits are no longer made available from the manufacturer. But... there was a recall for the 16mm brake MC piston, which coincidentally is the same as the clutch master. Because of the recall, it is possible to get the rebuild kit (part #61041881A) for $20. Worth noting that the kit comes with the dust seal that otherwise costs $25 from the dealer.

I haven't confirmed yet, but am hopeful this will resolve the soft lever issue.

Here are details on the recall, as well as the rebuild procedure:

Good info. Is that part # from Brembo or Ducati? Anywhere to check VIN for recall?

Well, hell. Ignore my dumba$$. Though the piston is for the PR15 master and looked identical, it was just slightly larger, so was a no-go. The seals might be usable on the original piston if rebuilding, but not sure.

At least I needed a new dust cap. And who can't use a nice fat green rubber band? It's faster than most rubber bands, I imagine.
