HI All,
I noticed looking at this pic today, am I imagining it? It looks like the clutch cover is significantly thicker than on other ducs? Anyone notice or have I lost it completely?

Looks like cast aluminum painted to look like magnesium parts. Ducati has used cast clutch covers in the past, but I don't remember when.

I'm sure you're right, I just don't recall the shoulder being that tall on the other bikes.

magnesium

it's magnesium and it's a bit wider due to sound cancelation system bolted inside.(v.s. steel /phonoabsorbing sandwidch )
however you can revert to old cover or open ones ....

Ahhhhhhh that explains it, thanks very much.
Sound cancellation!!?? I thought noise was what dry clutches were for! ;)
