Had to ride through 1-2 miles of construction the other day. What a mess :(
On the SF...
How do I clean the cement like dirt off of the radiators? Can I use WD-40 or chain cleaner?
And for the Monster
It got in all the cooling fins in the motor. Cemented. Just aweful.
What can I use?

Thanks

Simple Green and a low pressure, high volume water hose. Spray it on dry, rinse off with water. Don't spray hard or you will bend fins. No brushes.

This is how I cleaned my radiator every month. Very effective.

You may want to check your air filter too.

You may want to consider pulling the rad so you can spray it with a pressure hose from the back side as opposed to working that grit further into the fins. Hot, soapy water may help disolve some of the cement dust, it's probably not on there too thick. :)
