Searched the forum for this but no luck. Does anyone have a product they would suggest for small touch ups that could handle the heat of the exhaust?

A company called Caswell plating has some really great stuff that I have used in the past for plating and anodizing.

Thanks giogolf. I found that Pep Boys has some $6 spray, so given the small spot I want to touch up I'll probably try that first. However, if that doesn't work the Caswell "Plug and Plate" looks like a viable solution.

jonniedee - do you have a source for it? I found several places that sell VHT online, but couldn't find the chrome for some reason.

My can's at least 5 years old - got it at Pep boys off the shelf. VERY solid metal color when wet - but dried more of a metal flake look

jonnie - That might be the stuff the Pep Boys guy said they carry. Did you use it for touch up, and if so, did it match reasonably well?

I actually used it on a ford truck's bumper and it doesn't look half bad for paint.
Don't know what heat application will do to the coloration though...
BUT my neighbor has painted a complete set of headers with it (the exact same VHT)for his car and it looks more like some sort of ceramic coating more than chrome plating in his engine bay...

Thanks jonnie - I've only got a few tiny areas I'd need to use it at this point so even if it didn't blend in perfectly it'd probably still help.
