Hi guys, I posted this on the SC (the original thread: http://www.ducati.ms/forums/showthread.php?t=65724) forum but had a cpl more thoughts occur to me and thought I'd ask here as well in hopes of answers vs. me guessing tomorrow when I get the wheels.

Ugh.........I always forget about something. am I going to have issues with front and/or rear axles, spacing and carriers/rotor's offset? Any one put SC GT wheels on a m900?

your calipers will hit the spokes, the wheels won't
fit to your bike without further modifications.

why do you think are those sport classic owners
putting 3 and 5 Spokes on their bikes, because
they are so beautiful ?
no, because the wire wheels are heavy as fuck,
and will mess up the bike's handling and per-
ormance in general.

stay away from them, the wire wheels not the
sport classic owners, find something else to
improve on your bike but just the way it looks.

good advice for free here. :)

lol..............thanks! l'm aware of the weight issue, but like i said.... at this point the bike is more show then go, i just want it to be different. so i'll need to use spacers or shims (washers?) to space out the calipers? will that work? what about axcle diameter, spacers? thanks

i don't know what to do to your calipers, simple
shimming won't help i guess, as the discs won't
be centered in them no more afterwards.

sport classics have different calipers, floating ones
to be exact, with two pistons only, they brake like
crap compared to what you already have on your
bike.

skip the idea, it will look ugly on a monster anyway.

look ugly? thats the point! have you seen pics of it? lol......... i really want some different unique rims but this is a budget "build" so about $500-600 is the limit for rims. i was going to paint or chrome my stock 3 spokes but then found these...and bought them w/o doing the research first.

If you HAVE to do it, at least get the nice aluminum ones from the 1000 SC, not the GT. Those steel one are tanks!!
