Bike is 2013 multi with 13,000+ miles. Drive into work this morning and engine started back firing and loss of power. Throttle response was the same but it was coughing and spitting and dropped from 60mph down to 40mph with same throttle response.

Praying I can limp it home tonight. Anyone having similar issues?

It's something with the ECM I am assuming.

Bike regained power, then coughed and sputtered and all of a sudden... engine light came on.

Is it wet or raining there? Many bikes, including my own, do not like to get wet and will cut out.

Rain getting into the spark distribution will definitely do that, and there are a bunch of other potential causes too. Bad gas or fuel pump problem, computer problem, battery/alternator problem, etc...
