Changing the clocks!

My little SC is starting to look quite special, but the more I mess with it, the more I am going off the large OEM clocks. My smaller clubman headlamp makes them look even more clunky.

I love the look of what one guy (Robsy?) on here did...

But no idea if I could do that somehow (he built a new back from Carbon).

Alternatively I could replace them altogether with something aftermarket, but not sure what would work. I know I need to reflash the ECU if I'm to deal with the immobiliser issues.

Can anyone advise me on the options? If there are any... I'd want to keep my temp and fuel gauges.

i really like this mod! tried emailing jvb-moto (the shop that made the part) a month ago and haven't heard back. if there are enough people interested and the owner of the bike is cool with us copying we should try for a group buy.

Maybe try phoning them? (I assume they're in the US or I would try).

Count me in on that group buy - meanwhile I might take mine apart again and have another look at what's inside.

Yeah that thing is pretty sweet. I'd be interested in doing a group but as well.

I'm assuming you guys are talking about the owner and the maker respectively...

Also, has anyone here completely replaced thier clocks, with something like a motogadget unit?

Is it really complex, with the clocks acting as a mini-ecu, controlling the flashers and immobiliser? Would the motogadget (or similar) also monitor temp and fuel?
