I love things like this because it makes me wonder how many hidden gems there are in Ducatis!
Isn't there a way to check the height of the floats in a carb without removing the carbs? I remember reading about a method using clear plastic tubes attached to each of the carb bowl drains and seeing how far up the tubes the gas goes in relation to a line somewhere on the carbs. There is one thread somewhere that mentions this with a picture that was very helpful - but the picture is not there anymore.
