Got this 999R fender on ebay its coming today wondering what installation will entail.

As you can see, and as many of you R owners already know, the fender looks like it wraps more than half way around the fork stanchions or tubes. Tell me I don't have to drop the forks in order to install this. Should'nt be too tough though since she currently looks like this.

Nothing to worry about Scott, no forks to drop no nothing at all. Just a couple of screws and you're done, plug'n'play I'd say :).

P.S: by the way, why is she looking like that right now ?

Six Thousand mile service, Martin Brickwood Performance Collets, whole lotta powdercoating, ceramic coating the full Termi system, various bits and goodies, you know how it is. She's a work in progress. Don't think I will ever be satisfied.

:) I know exactly how it is my friend... we're in the same spot (is this correct expression ?)

Enjoy the process until you are ready to enjoy her when ready.

Best of luck in your endeavors,

Doc
