Just mounted Carbon air runners on my 999s.
They are a lot bigger than the original ones, and without the noice reducing "chamber" that the original runners have.

Now, as the original runner on the right hand side has the cooler liquid-cannister attached to it, I wonder if anyone can give me some hints or suggestions on how and where to place the coolant liquid cannister?
Where do the race-guys place it?

I presume it is quite necessary for the bike to run ok, right?

My runners are these ones(not my bike, but same item)

We installed larger air runners on our 999R that required a remote bottle.

We used the bottle below and fit it directly behind the steering head.

Would there be any problems if I were to block off the stock intake chambers? If I'm not wrong, they're there to reduce intake noise. Well, I want intake noise! :D

I mounted the bottle where the horn used to be.
I did just the same as per your recommendation.
Seems to be working fine.

However, could anyone please confirm that that kind of mount will not interfere with the cooling-system in a negative way?

My concern is that the coolant-bottle is located lower than the intake of coolant liquid into the radiator?
