I got a arrow slip on that came with DB killers, if I take them both off it's too loud and if I put them both on it's too quiet. If I leave one on and the other one off, It sound about perfect; can this cause engine damage?

Nope... the 1098's exhaust is a 2-1-2 system, which means what feeds the exhaust is a single pipe.

yerp much less complicated than the asymmetrical exhaust found on the legendary 749

thank you, I was worried I was causing damage by running one cylinder leaner then the other, I am glad that is not the case.

Take the db killers out and just wear earplugs when you are riding.... ?!?
