I have this picture saved in my computer from a couple of years back. I don't know where I got it and have no clue what it is. I am pretty sure it is a Frankenstein of some sort. Can anybody identify the tank, frame, motor, seat, fork & wheels? Thanks in advance.

Looks exactly like my 1978 900 gt with darma, or ss wheels on it.CaptPpaul
P.S. must be Darma swing arm too.
Is that the stock tank on this bike?
Its probably based on an 860/900 GTS from the mid- to late-'70s. The tank, saddle and headlamp supports are from that model. It has been upgraded with later wheels and brake disks, non-stock shocks and who knows what else.

I think it may be the other way round: those guards/wheels/forks etc are very Darmah, so maybe the base is a Darmah with the 860 tank and seat added?
900 gt?

A lot of darmas have electric starters, this one doesn't, kickstarter looks gt,78-79 tank, headlite, seat ect.

As far as I can tell from photos, the later GTS models used the same guards as the Darmah.

If some one put darma wheels & swing arm on a 860-900gt that's what you'd have.860/ 900 gts came with starter motor.
captpaul,

we had a lot of 860 and Darmah bikes in OZ.

Front discs seem wrong?

Prolly crashed bike, when repairs came tank and what eva was handy.

My first Ducati was a brand new1962 200 ducati, looked like the 250 monza,
all my ducatis have been bevels, sorry to say I've never been to oz!
Oz has some nice roads and like the US , huge distances.
Maybe one day ?
