I’ve always liked D.I.D. and gotten 15-20K out of them. Works for me.

I vote D.I.D. ZVMX chain all the way. Been working really well for me for about 10,000 miles now. The stock regina chain went out pretty early on me. But that was after an alaska trip fully loaded.

I did 50,000Kms on a DID ZVMX, i changed it for another one, even tho the first one was still ok, preventative maintenance.

ZVMX Gold for me too... doesn't really match the silver anodize on the Multi forks, guard, panniers, etc... but not particularly noticeable anyway.

My current ZVMX has 25k miles on it it’s still doing good but getting a little kinky in spots. Since there’s a discount at Sprocket Center right now I ordered another set.

But this time instead of gold I ordered chrome. I hope it lasts as long as the gold ones.

Gold and natural are much easier to find master links I’m finding. Need a nickel version and have to pay full price plus shipping from SprocketCenter.com instead of cheap from eBay.

Haha. Got me there.

Although I think they are just trying to make it a more recognizable option. I don’t think chrome plating would survive the abuse the chain goes through.

Never understood gold chains. Too blingy and it doesn’t compliment my bike.

My bike is red, black, steel and aluminum. I always go with nickel/polished.
