You know those things that sit at the front of your trailer and you wind the handle to raise or lower your trailer? Can I use one if my trailer has a triangle front instead of one straight piece to mount it on? Are the benefits of having one the ease of manuevering when detached from your vehicle and detaching and keeping level at track days? Also I assume one that has an 800 pound for instance limit will be ok even when the bike is mounted. When they say 800 pound limit clearly the whole trailer and bike weight (about 800 pounds) is not on the jack.

Yeah you can use those on V-tongues as long as the mounting pattern will fit it.Place it as far forward (towards the hitch coupling) as you can. For what you're using it for you'll never have 800lbs on it.
(unless I show up with some brews)
