I've noticed a few members have painted the chrome ring around the headlight. I was wondering what prep work is involved and what type of paint I can use. I was also wondering if it's possible to paint the chrome handlebars. I don't want to spend the money for powder coating or after-market bars.

Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Powdercoating is the only way to go here with these parts...unless you don't mind touching up the paint all the time!
