Hi everyone,

I'm planning to buy my first Duc. I've been looking at this one 1098S which has seen nearly 40 000 kilometres of the road. The owner says the bike has mainly seen touring and it also has raised clip-ons installed.

The bike has been serviced on a regular basis and all but the last service has been done by an authorized service provider. In the last service were included the belt tension adjustment, valve clearances, front suspension service and new filter + engine oil.

The bike is priced very low and comes with another set of cans, an open clutch cover, new chain and sprockets etc. What do you guys think?

If it's been maintained properly like you say and the price is right I say go for it. 40,000 kms (25,000 miles) is no big deal. I have a 07 multistrada with 40,000km and a friend has an 04 ST4S with nearly 100,000km, both maintained properly and run like new.
