buffing out scratches?

what should i try to use to buff out some scratches on my 749 DARK lower. i know the clear coat is an eggshell; does this affect its buffability (i made that word up)? the scratches don't look too deep and i have some touch up, if need be, but just wondered if anyone had some good advice for buffing out minor scratches on the matte/eggshell finish.

Sorry, I hate to post not having something worth while to add, but I can't imagine what can be done with the darks?? Seems like any buffing or polishing you did would throw off the "gloss" of that area from the rest of the bike. Good luck.
